When warehouse photos mislead charts
A full aisle looks healthy in a photo and still reads as a stockout risk on the board when units are the wrong pack size, in quarantine, or allocated to another node. Photos capture presence; systems capture entitlement.
Document the mismatch type
We coach teams to tag disagreements as location, status, or unit-of-measure conflicts. Without tags, every meeting becomes a debate about who “feels right.”
Schedule reconciliation, do not romanticize it
